The film is a journey between objects, passed from hand to hand which leads us to dwellings that no longer exist, to buildings that are no longer there and to memories that painfully endure and that we must not extinguish. A film inventory building on the repetition of words and phrases…  (Catarina Cabral, Indielisboa Festival Internacional de Cinema 2018)

The film is a tremendously complex puzzle, merging together pieces of the present with traces of the past in a montage of rediscovered footage and archive documents, mixed with urban, quotidian images of present-day Berlin: office buildings, parks, antiques, glimpses of interiors and windows through which the cold morning wind whistles its way in. (Andreea Chiper, One World Romania Film Festival, 2019)

…The camera searches for secrets in contemporary public space. Slowly, an image of a person and a history emerges in this delicate and moving film essay. (International Film Festival Rotterdam, 2018)
